In October 2008 we started a new project, now called ‘METAL MACHINE TRIO’.
The aim of the band is to play improvised, free form, physical noise rock, with
elements of ambient music, free jazz, contemporary electronic soundscapes, and
whatever else we like to include.
On October, 2 and 3 2008 we played our first shows, called UNCLASSIFIED, in front of a sold out house at the Redcat (Roy and Edna Disney / CalArts Theater), part of the ‚Walt Disney Concert Hall Complex’, in Los Angeles (among others home of the Los Angeles Philharmonics). After having sold out the two evenings, we decided to add another show on the first night, due to high demand at the box office, which also was sold out within 24 hours.
Two of the three shows are now available as online releases via download.
There will be a limited CD release coming out probably end of January 2009
